Atonement was a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 custom zombies map project led by Madgaz. Madgaz is famous for his highly detailed maps, and I was very happy to get a chance to work on one.

I helped by scripting some important features for the map. This includes a very different start system than with normal zombies maps. The player has to face an onslaught of zombies that grows harder very quickly. Once they leave the area, all zombies are immediately electrocuted by the nearby pylons. The longer you last, the more points you get for zombies killed and also a unique reward based on time once you leave.


I also helped to create a minecart system that lets the players use special tokens to have parts of the pack-a-punch machine delivered to them. Overall, it was great to be part of the team that brought this highly vertical map with lots of custom enemies, perks, and other features to life.
